YouTube has postponed its virtual opening ceremony for June 7th instead of June 6th in honor of George Floyd’s memorial service. “Dear Class of 2020” will feature Barack and Michelle Obama, BTS and Lady Gaga, Google CEO Sundar Pichai, and activist Malala Yousafzai.

Due to the outbreak of the corona virus, schools across the country have held virtual beginnings to meet the restrictions for large gatherings.

You will also hear from Robert Gates, who served as US Secretary of Defense under Presidents George W. Bush and Obama, and Condoleezza Rice, who was Secretary of State during the Bush administration.

Special appearances – which probably means that a sentence appears – include Alicia Keys, Kerry Washington, Zendaya and Dude Perfect. YouTube is also teasing a “special surprise guest” so you can start guessing now.

The stream starts at 12 p.m. PT (3 p.m. ET) on Sunday June 7th.
