YouTube experiences brief outage across the globe
YouTube users around the world reported outages on Thursday that temporarily prevented them from accessing content on the popular video-sharing website. Users turned to Twitter to express their frustration and get answers.
“Hey @ YouTube @ ytcreators, my channel is gone for some reason,” said one user tweeted. “There are no videos on the page, and the Creator Studio got confused and says there is no data. What’s wrong?”

The short breakdown that seems to have started around 4pm. PT and apparently was resolved about 30 minutes later, affecting users on both US, Western Europe, and parts of Australia.

With people around the world seeking protection, Google’s own website has attracted parents looking for content for children, consumers looking for news, and people who are just trying to find a distraction in stressful times.
YouTube representatives did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
