The popularity of drones continues to increase (sorry) because flying is an entertaining activity that you can do comfortably and socially in your own garden. There are plenty of decent ones priced at $ 100 or less, but it’s hard for anyone who takes the hobby serious to get something out of the DJI cast. And if you’re looking for someone to give Dad, here’s a great deal: they’ll be renovated for a limited time and while supplies last DJI Mavic Air costs $ 499 via the official eBay shop of DJI. It was originally sold for $ 799. This is the lowest price i have seen.

I know: still a pretty expensive gift. However, to quote CNET’s Mavic Air test, this is “a foldable 4K mini drone that’s almost perfect”. The foldable part is the key: I have a DJI Spark, which is kind of a little brother of this model, and it is a pain to travel with because his arms don’t fold. It is worth noting that there is a newer model, the Mavic Air 2, which has an improved camera, longer flight times and other improvements. But it’s $ 799.

Here’s another item with dad gift potential: an air fryer! I use mine all the time, partly because it’s ideal for things like oven fries and partly because it’s sometimes easier than handling the actual oven. (Example: You don’t have to wait 20 minutes for it to preheat.)

There are millions of these things. Here is a particularly good offer: Best Buy has it only today and while stocks last Chefman TurboFry 3.7 liter digital air fryer for $ 39.99. Regular price: $ 79.99.

Simplicity seems to be the key here: it has digital time and temperature controls and a dishwasher-safe basket. There are both larger and smaller fryers. This is roughly in the middle, so ideal for one or two-person households, not for large families.
