You can now pre-book Samsung’s upcoming foldables in India

Samsung confirmed that it will showcase new Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy Z Fold phones at its Unpacked event on August 11, so users can reserve those devices in advance as well. Now Samsung India has opened pre-orders for the phones as well.
The Korean company announced that starting today (Aug. 6), Indian consumers will be able to pre-order the new phones by paying 2,000 rupees (~ $ 27) through Samsung’s online store or the Samsung Shop app. Users who choose this route will receive a Smart Tag for free, with the number of Rs 2,000 deducted from the total price of the device.
Samsung recently opened reservations in the US as well, offering an additional $ 100 trade-in value on your old phone, 12 months of Samsung Care Plus, and an unpublished pre-order offer. Otherwise, we expect the Korean company to introduce the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Galaxy Z Flip 3. Both devices are said to offer waterproof designs, while the Z Fold 3 is also said to get S Pen support.
The large foldable screen was also the subject of a major leakage today courtesy of WinFuture. The trusted German tech outlet claims that the Z Fold 3 will feature a Snapdragon 888 SoC, 12 GB of RAM, 256 GB to 512 GB of storage, and a 4,400 mAh battery. This device is also said to come with a triple 12 MP rear view camera system, a 10 MP camera for the smartphone screen and a 4 MP selfie camera under the display for the foldable display.
