This means that the new Xiaomi Mi X series of phones could be equipped with triple rear cameras and 120 Hz AMOLED displays. The Redmi K40 has a Snapdragon 870 chip, while the K40 Pro Plus is powered by the Snapdragon 888. Elsewhere, both phones get a 6.67-inch screen, MIUI 12, 20-megapixel selfie snapper, and a 4,520 mAh battery. However, the main camera sensor will vary on both devices. The Vanilla Redmi K40 gets a 48MP primary shooter, while the K40 Pro Plus builds it on top of a 108MP sensor.
We’re not sure if their specs will stay the same in India when they launch under the Mi X name. Xiaomi could optimize a few things for the Indian market. However, we assume that the prices for the Mi X series will be lower than for the Mi 11 Ultra, which is supposedly the most expensive Xiaomi phone in India.
