Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro X 15 launches in China with a stacked specs list

After Xiaomi annoyed fans earlier this week, Xiaomi has now launched its new flagship laptop range in China. The Mi Notebook Pro X offers an OLED display and Intel’s 11th Gen CPUs.
Aesthetically, the Mi Notebook Pro X is optically based on earlier Xiaomi notebooks. This includes the aluminum housing with thin bezels, a large touchpad and beveled edges. A backlit keyboard also offers a key travel of 1.5 mm and a fingerprint reader integrated into the power switch. There is also a 720p webcam for meetings.
In terms of portability, the Notebook Pro X weighs 1.9 kg and measures just under 19 mm at its thickest point.

What about these specs? Well, the Mi Notebook Pro X is led by a 15.6-inch OLED display with a resolution of 3,456 x 2,160 and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. It’s also coated with gorilla glass. Xiaomi claims that the display packs offer 100% sRGB and DCI-P3 coverage, DC dimming and 600 nits of peak brightness.
With this screen, buyers have the choice between two Tiger Lake Intel CPUs – the Core i7-11370H with 4.8 GHz boost clock or the Core i5-11300H with 4.4 GHz boost clock. Both are paired with an Nvidia RTX 3050Ti with 4 GB of GDDR6 RAM, dual-fan cooling technology and a large copper heat sink. It is noteworthy that the i5 model gets 16 GB of RAM with 512 GB of SSD storage. However, the i7 option comes with 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
For I / O, the Mi Notebook X Pro offers a USB-C port, a Thunderbolt 4 port, two USB-A ports, an HDMI 2.1 port and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The wireless technology includes Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 support. Harman tuned speakers also provide DTS audio support. The Notebook Pro X uses an 80 Wh battery with 130 W USB-C charging for power.
Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro X: price and availability
Xiaomi’s flagship laptop, available in Space Gray, starts at 7,999 yuan (about $ 1,238) for the i5 model. The i7 option is priced at 9,999 yuan (~ $ 1,549). Both options are available for pre-order in China, but general sales will begin July 9th. There is still no information on global availability.
