Xiaomi has finally announced the launch date for the Mi 11 series. The new flagships will be the first to launch the Snapdragon 888 processor on December 28th.
Xiaomi announced the launch date for Mi 11 on the Chinese social media platform Weibo. A poster shared by the company confirms that the China launch will be at 7:30 p.m. local time (6:30 a.m. ET). Pre-reservations for the phone have already started in the country.
There’s no word yet on a global launch date for the Mi 11 series, but we don’t expect it to be far behind. However, we don’t expect the series to be available outside of China until January 2021.
It has already been indicated that the Mi 11 range would start on December 29th. However, the leak didn’t confirm whether it was a global start date or a timeline for China only.
Even so, we expect the Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro models to be seen on the home lawn during the launch of Xiaomi. There’s not much to be said in terms of credible rumors, but we’ve seen some pictures of the alleged Mi 11 online.
