  • Xiaomi has confirmed the launch of the Mi 10T series.
  • It will be announced on September 30th.
  • We expect Xiaomi to launch at least two models in the series.

Xiaomi has sent out save-the-date invitations for the launch of the Mi 10T line in Europe. Android Authority can now confirm that the series will be announced worldwide on September 30th at 2:00 p.m. CET (8:00 a.m. CET). We expect Xiaomi to host a virtual kick-off event that day.

The Mi 10T is expected to hit the market alongside the higher quality Mi 10T Pro. There are also rumors of a third Mi 10T Lite model, but nothing has been confirmed so far. You can check out the German language invitation picture below.

The Mi 10T models will replace last year’s Mi 9T and Mi 9T Pro. Unlike their predecessors, they don’t appear to be Redmi smartphones. Instead, they will bring a new design and different specifications to the table.

Leaked renders and images of the Mi 10T Pro show a device with a clunky, vertically stacked rear camera that matches the design of the current Mi 10 Ultra. On the front are the T-series Mi 10 phones expected a hole display with narrow bezels.

The new series could be cheaper than the Mi 10’s flagships, but leaks suggest premium specs. The Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro is said to have a 144 Hz display, a 108 megapixel triple camera setup, a 5,000 mAh battery and a Snapdragon 865 processor – all at an expected price of 699 euros.

Not much is known about the vanilla Mi 10T or the so-called Mi 10T Lite. Previous leaks suggest that the standard model will come with a 64-megapixel triple camera. We assume that the Snapdragon 865 will also be housed there, but with less RAM, storage and battery capacity to make it cheaper than the Pro variant.
