- Xiaomi has confirmed the launch of the Mi 10S.
- The phone will be equipped with the Snapdragon 870 chipset.
- It will be unveiled in China on March 10th.
The Xiaomi Mi 10 series is already very different in price. It has flagship models on the higher end, cheaper models in the Mi 10T line, and an option under $ 300 in the form of the Mi 10i. Now the company plans to add another member to the series.
Xiaomi will present the Mi 10S in China on March 10th. The company confirmed the launch of Weibo and also posted a poster of the phone showing the elaborate quad camera setup.
As you can see in the picture, the Mi 10S has a 108MP primary sensor. Xiaomi has also confirmed that the phone will include the Snapdragon 870 processor that we recently saw on the standard Redmi K40.
A previously identified regulatory listing suggested the phone might have a 6.67-inch display, a 4,680 mAh battery, and a 33W charge.
In addition, Xiaomi has announced that the Mi 10S will be equipped with Harman Kardon Audio. The teaser poster also shows the device will start up in three colors – black, blue, and white.
In terms of price, Tipster Digital Chat Station estimates the Mi 10S could cost around 3,500 yuan (~ $ 540), which is essentially the same as the Mi 10T when it was launched.
We’re not sure if Xiaomi plans to launch the Mi 10S globally after its release in China, but we’ll keep you updated when we know more.
