WWE Backlash 2020: How to watch, start time, full card and WWE Network
The greatest wrestling match ever. In this way, WWE Edge supports Randy Orton, who takes over each other during the WWE Backlash Pay-per-View on Sunday. It’s an absurd claim, especially since their WrestleMania match was so badly received. But once you’ve forgotten the stupid slogan, it’s exciting to see Edge’s first real match in nine years. (The WrestleMania fight was more of a fight and wrestling match.)
But here’s another thing to get excited about: the whole map won’t take place in complete silence. WWE is committed to bringing its development wrestlers into the arena and building a makeshift crowd that makes noise and reacts to things. After months of silence, it’s a welcome change.
The card is not particularly strong outside of the main event. The two title fights – WWE champion Drew McIntyre against Bobby Lashley and universal champion Braun Strowman against Miz and John Morrison in a handicap match – both feel like placeholders. There is no sure hit on the card.
But as much as WWE has a habit of fumbling something that looks like a sure bang, sometimes they also make bang out of nowhere. So we’ll see.
Start times
The backlash is at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. The main card starts around on both days 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT. If you’re a paid WWE Network subscriber – for $ 9.99 a month – you can watch Backlash live at no additional cost. Otherwise, you need to contact your local cable provider.
UK viewers have to stay up late to watch Money in the Bank when the show starts Midnight Sunday UK time. Money in the bank starts for Australians 9 a.m.CEST on Monday.
