The Galaxy Tab S7 Plus may not be the largest Samsung device for long. Android police discovered a since-deleted tweet that showed a South Korean poll suggesting that Samsung might launch a 14-inch tablet in the near future.
The 14-inch tablet (code name “Basquiat 3”, possibly the Galaxy Tab S8) is said to revolve around a 14.6-inch OLED screen with 120 Hz, the 12.4-inch display of the Tab S7 Plus dwarfs – this would be even more of a laptop replacement than its predecessor. The additional visual area would also include a second 5-megapixel ultra-wide camera for the standard 8-megapixel model, and an under-screen fingerprint reader would make signing in easier.

According to the survey, you would also get the best performance from the new lineup. While the 11- and 12.4-inch models (Basquiat 1 and 2, respectively) would have no more than 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, the 14-inch tablet would come in a version with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage space if a ‘The 8GB / 128GB model of the starter wasn’t enough. There would be a larger 12,000 mAh battery compared to the 10,090 mAh on the 12-inch device, although we wouldn’t expect a longer battery life as a result.
All three designs feature the fastest next-generation application processor (possibly a Snapdragon 888 Plus), a Bluetooth-based S-pen, four speakers, and a dual rear-view camera system with 13MP and 5MP sensors. The 14-inch tablet would probably be more of an “ultra” version of the smaller models than a truly unique machine.
There is no indication of when any of these models might be available. However, the survey suggests that Samsung may be charging a starting price of around $ 1,320 for the 14-inch tablet in its home country. A 128GB Galaxy Tab S7 Plus is officially selling for around $ 849.99 in the US as of this writing – you’d pay a sizable premium for the giant version.
