Samsung has unveiled its long roadmap for Android 11 updates, on which numerous smartphones and tablets One UI 3.0 will be received in the coming months. Speckled by TizenHelpThe roadmap comes from Egypt. Use the dates as a rough guide if you are in Europe, India, or the US.
Overall, the roadmap includes the company’s flagship lines from 2020 and 2019, as well as some phones from the Tablet, Galaxy A and Galaxy M families.
connected: When will your phone get the Android 11 update?
The Galaxy S20 series – including the S20 Plus and S20 Ultra – will be the first stable Android 11 builds to receive this month. In January 2021, the Note 20, Z Flip and Z Fold 2, Note 10 and S10 series will be next for the update. Samsung’s roadmap extends until September 2021, when the Android 11 update will finally be available on the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019).
Not every notable Samsung phone and tablet is on the list. The Samsung Galaxy S10e and Galaxy S20 FE are the surprising omissions, while the Galaxy Tab S7 Plus, oddly enough, is also absent. Those who are still rocking Galaxy S9 and Note 9 devices won’t see the Android 11 update reach their aging devices.
