WhatsApp is expanding its video chat capabilities.

Would you like to chat with more people via video or voice chat via WhatsApp? Now you can.
In a new update released on Monday, the popular messaging app increases the number of people who can make a video call at the same time to eight, twice the previous limit of four Update notice in the iPhone App Store.
The Android version of the app does not appear to be updated in the Google Play Store, but as MSPowerUser noticesAn updated version with support for eight callers can be downloaded directly from WhatsApp website, suggesting that it should be available on the Play Store shortly. WhatsApp did not immediately respond to a request for more information.
In order to be able to make calls with more people, each caller must be on the latest version of the app on both platforms.
