The summer streaming season is officially here, and with it an exciting selection of TV shows and movies on your favorite streaming services. In this one-stop shop, we’ll tell you what to stream monthly on Netflix, Disney Plus, Amazon Prime Video, HBO Max, and other major platforms. Release date: June 4th
Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson return as Lorraine and Ed Warren in the third Conjuring film. This will be exclusive to HBO Max and will tell the story of a young man accused of murder. The turning point in the story comes when he claims in court to defend demonic possession. Since there is no legal precedent for such a case, the two paranormal detectives now have to prove that the devil is real and the boy is innocent.
Sweet tooth

Release date: June 4th
You can finally stream Netflix’s post-apocalyptic fairy tale show this June. Sweet Tooth tells the story of hybrids – children who are partly human and partly animal. Humans are not sure whether the hybrids are a result of a virus or whether they are the cause. Even so, the creatures are hunted and undesirable. The main plot revolves around a sheltered hybrid stag boy named Gus (Christian Convery) who unexpectedly befriends a wandering loner named Jepperd (Nonso Anozie). Together they embark on an epic adventure across America to find answers about Gus’ origins and meet others of his kind. The series is based on a DC comic series.
Loki

One of Disney Plus’ biggest streaming releases, Marvel’s Loki, hits June 9th. A new episode of the six-part show is posted on the streaming service every Wednesday. In the series, Tom Hiddleston will repeat his role as the god of mischief. After the events of Avengers: Endgame, Loki gets into trouble with the Time Variance Authority, aka TVA, about creating a new timeline. It is now his job to restore order in the world, otherwise he could expect to be erased from existence.
awakening

Release DATE: June 9th
This full-length Netflix film might appeal to many of our readers. In Awake, Jill (Gina Rodriguez), an ex-soldier with a troubled past, sees the world collapse around her when a mysterious global event wipes out all electronics and robs mankind of the ability to sleep. The key to solving this insomnia crisis could be Jill’s little daughter.

The gentleman thief is back for another round of deception in the second part of Netflix’s popular French TV series. If you haven’t seen the first part, now would be a good time to catch up on all five episodes. For those of you who saw the show, Assane Diop will land in a pickle in the new episode. His son has been kidnapped and he is looking for revenge on Hubert Pellegrini. What’s his new plan? Your guess is as good as ours.
In the heights
Where: HBO Max

Based on the musical stage play by Lin-Manuel Miranda comes this cinematic event where the streets are made of music and small dreams become big. “In the Heights” fuses Miranda’s music and lyrics with director Jon M. Chu’s storytelling to capture Washington Heights, a world very similar to her but universal in experience. The original stage show was nominated for thirteen Tony Awards and won four, including Best Musical. We hope the film is as eye-catching as the play.

The Spin Doctors are back with a slew of new clients who need exceptional and sometimes criminal PR skills to manage. Anna Paquin will repeat her role as Robyn, the famous PR manager of the rich and famous. Those who have not yet seen the first season of the series can stream all six episodes on Amazon Prime Video.

This new Netflix movie is going to be whole-heartedly – emotionally speaking, and it plays Kevin Hart as a single father raising a young daughter. The film comes out just in time for Father’s Day weekend in June and is based on the memoir of the author Matt Logelin “Two Kisses for Maddy”.

The trend of modern TV shows romanticizing the 80s started with Netflix’s Stranger Things, but soon after, many streaming services jumped on the nostalgic bandwagon. This title is Apple TV Plus’s chance to reminisce. The upcoming dramedy shows Rose Byrne as a mother who stays at home and develops into an ambitious aerobics teacher. It’s the 80s vibe in full swing so get ready for swimsuits over leggings and lots of energy.
The ice road

In this upcoming Netflix movie, Liam Neeson plays a big rig ice road driver in the cool north of Canada. After a remote diamond mine collapses, Neeson must lead an impossible rescue mission across a frozen ocean to rescue the trapped miners. In a battle with thawing water and a tremendous storm, they soon discover that the real threat is one they never saw coming.

Starring in this upcoming Hulu horror comedy are Ilana Glazer, Justin Theroux, Sophia Bush, Josh Hamilton and Pierce Brosnan. The film is supposed to be a modern version of Rosemary’s baby. After several attempts to get pregnant, a young couple finally finds their dream fertility doctor. But the doctor is not what he appears to be, and there is something sinister hidden behind his radiant charm.
