- Oppo has announced that it will host its Inno Day 2020 next week.
- The company showed selfie camera technology and AR glasses in the display at its event in 2019.
Oppo held its first Inno Day in December last year and used the event to demonstrate some of the latest technologies it is working on. We saw and played with technologies such as in-display selfie cameras and AR headsets at the 2019 event.
Now the company has announced that it will hold its Inno Day 2020 event in Shenzhen, China on November 17th (at 4:00 p.m. local time). Check out the event picture below.
So what could Oppo have up its sleeve next week then? Well, frequent tipsters Digital Chat Station Remarks In addition, three concept products will be presented on Inno Day 2020. In addition, the leaker claims that Oppo is currently working on collapsible leaflets, a new generation of selfie cameras with display, 125 W wired / 65 W wireless charging technology and various optical zoom technologies. So we’d guess that at least one or two of these technologies will show up next week.
At the beginning of this year, Oppo announced a periscope lens system with a hybrid zoom that offers a variable zoom between 3.3x and 5.4x as well as a hybrid zoom of up to 11x. So it stands to reason that we could see this technology in action at the event.
