We currently have no real idea when Disney will be able to do this open their theme parks around the world, especially in the United States, Disney’s Shanghai Park will reopen Monday this week.
In preparation for the opening Andrew Bolstein, senior vice president of operations for the park, took journalists on a tourto show how the park operates when it tries to operate during the Corona virus Outbreak.
As part of the reopening, a tutorial video was released explaining the rules and regulations for visiting the park. It offers a fascinating view and provides an insight into what a visit to a theme park according to COVID-19 could look like.
The video shows how to book, use a “health QR code” required for entry and how to keep clear of queuing, driving and eating in the restaurants.
Disney CEO Bob Chapek recently commented on possible schedules for reopening other theme parks, but refused to go into details.
“Although it is too early to predict when we can resume all of our activities, we are evaluating a number of different scenarios to ensure a prudent, sensible, and conscious approach to the eventual reopening of our parks,” he said.
The tickets for the first days of the reopening of the Shanghai Park are already sold out.
