- Renders of the Vivo X70 Pro leaked online.
- The phone looks similar to its predecessor and also includes the Zeiss branding.
- However, we see a quad camera system here compared to the triple camera of the X60 Pro.
The Vivo X60 series was a notable release for the company as they were the first Vivo devices from the Zeiss brand. Rumors suggest that Vivo is finishing the X70 series and now obvious renders have leaked online.
Vivo X70 Pro renders and a 360 degree video (shown below) popped up online courtesy of. on 91Mobile and experienced leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer, who shows a phone that looks similar to the X60 Pro. That means we have a 6.5-inch curved display with a punch-hole cutout in the center, as well as a sizeable rear-view camera with Zeiss branding. We also suspect that this device has a glass back in contrast to the synthetic leather cover of the X60 Pro Plus.
We see four rear cameras and a repositioned flash module compared to the triple rear camera setup of the X60 Pro. There’s no official word on camera details, but the previous device featured a 48-megapixel main camera with micro-gimbal stabilization, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 13-megapixel 2X telephoto snapper. So hopefully we’re seeing a similarly flexible system on the Vivo X70 Pro.
The new phone has also reportedly appeared on the Google Play Console and specifically lists a Mediatek Dimensity 1200 chipset, 8GB of RAM and a full HD screen resolution.
The company has also previously confirmed that it will offer key operating system updates for select phones launched after July 2021 for three years. So I guess the X70 Pro will actually fall under that directive, but we’ll have to wait for the reveal to be sure.
