In early September, Vivo launched the X70 series in China, showcasing its latest flagships with a focus on photography. Now the company has officially launched the Vivo X70 Pro and X70 Pro Plus in India.
The front of the Vivo X70 Pro has a 6.56-inch AMOLED display with 120 Hz and a resolution of 2,376 x 1,080. Internally, it uses the Samsung Exynos 1080 SoC which is connected to at least 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The Chinese version in particular uses the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC.
For the power supply, the X70 Pro relies on a 4,450 mAh battery with 44 W wired charging support. It also includes a rear quad camera array with 50 MP primary, 8 MP periscope, 12 MP portrait, and 12 MP ultra-wide angle lenses. A 32 MP sensor is included in the front.

Meanwhile, the Vivo X70 Pro Plus brings a larger 6.78-inch LTPO-AMOLED with a resolution of 3,200 x 1,440 and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It swaps Samsung internals for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC, which is equipped with LPDDR5 -RAM and UFS 3.1 storage connected while the power comes from a 4,500 mAh battery with 55W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
The big trump card of the X70 Pro Plus is its imaging hardware. It is overwritten by the 50 MP Samsung GN1 sensor and supported by 8 MP periscope, 12 MP portrait, and 48 MP ultra wide shooters.
Vivo X70 Pro and X70 Pro Plus: pricing and availability
The Vivo X70 Pro will be available in Cosmic Black and Aurora Dawn colors, as well as three RAM and storage options. The 8GB / 128GB model is available on Flipkart for Rs 46,990 (~ 633), the 8GB / 256GB option costs Rs 49,990 (~ $ 674), while the 12GB / 256GB Option lands for Rs 52,990 (~ $ 714). The much more expensive X70 Pro Plus from Vivo in its 8 GB / 256 GB version costs 79,990 rupees (~ 1,080 US dollars) at Flipkart. It is available in Enigma Black.
Both phones will be available for pre-order starting September 30th at 12:00 PM EST (2:30 PM ET). The X70 Pro will go on sale on October 7th. However, you’ll have to wait until October 12th to get your hands on the X70 Pro Plus.
