Verizon outage reportedly widely, affecting many parts of the US

- Verizon’s cellular and Internet services appear to be experiencing widespread outage.

If you’re a Verizon customer and you’re having problems, you are not alone. Verizon doesn’t work in many parts of the United States.
Affected users have taken Twitter and DownDetector to report problems with cellular and internet services.
“Right out in Woodbury. Using straight talk phones with Verizon SIM, also known as tower, ”reports one user. “Nothing in Kingston Hurley,” says another.
Some of the hardest hit locations are New York City, Philadelphia, Newburgh, Brooklyn, and many more.
The company has not officially recognized the problem, however Verizon support on Twitter forwards complaints to the team. It also urges people to visit this support page for tips on what to do in the event of a failure.
