Twitter, Facebook remove Trump campaign videos due to copyright complaint
Twitter attracted video tributes George Floyd from a pair of tweets released by President Donald Trump’s re-election campaign on Thursday due to a copyright complaint, as previously reported by Politico. They were from that @ TeamTrump and @ TrumpWarRoom Accounts.
“Per our copyright policy, We are responding to valid copyright complaints sent to us by a copyright owner or his authorized representative, “said a Twitter spokesman in an emailed statement, but did not say who submitted the complaint.
In a follow-up tweet the Trump campaign accused Twitter and CEO Jack Dorsey of the “censorship” of Trump’s “uplifting and unified message”. Last month, Trump signed a regulation to limit legal protection for social media companies after Twitter rated two of its tweets as “potentially misleading”.

The almost four-minute video, in which recordings from the last few days are played as Trump, pays tribute to Floyd and criticizes “Antifa and other radical left groups” for the unrest in the USA.
Facebook and its photo service Instagram also removed the same video due to a copyright complaint.
“We received a copyright complaint from the author under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and removed the post. Organizations that use original art released on Instagram are likely to have the right,” said a Facebook spokesman in a statement.
However, the video is still available on Google’s own YouTube.
Antifa, short for anti-fascists, is a comprehensive description of right-wing extremist militant groups who deal with white Supremacists and neo-Nazis at rallies and other events. Last Sunday, Trump tweeted that the United States would call Antifa a terrorist organization. However, Legal specialists said Antifa is not a real organization.
