TV providers asked to stop charging customers for live sports

New York Attorney General Letitia James asked seven cable and satellite television providers for it on Wednesday Reduction or elimination of fees related to live sports in the middle of Covid-19 pandemic. In her letter, James asked companies to come up with a plan for “reasonable refunds, discounts and reductions in fees and charges, deferrals and waivers of termination fees, at least until the live sports program resumes.”
