- Logitech Plus Trip: $ 6.90
The Logitech Plus Trip is a small magnetic vent mount for cars. It is used to hold smartphones in place for easy access and viewing. It’s currently priced at $ 6.90 on Amazon (at the time of writing). However, you can purchase it from other retailers for a similar price. It is only available in one color configuration: gray with a metallic outline.
The package comes with the ventilation bracket and some self-adhesive magnetic plates that can be attached to devices, smartphone cases and much more. It measures 1.38 x 1.25 x 1.25 inches and weighs 0.05 pounds.

There’s a lot to like about the Logitech Plus trip. For starters, this price seems unreal. It will be really hard to beat, especially once you realize how much value the product brings to the table.
It all starts with the design, which is superb. This accessory is small and elegant. The gray and metallic accents blend in with its surroundings, especially considering it’s tiny and its visible surface after assembly is only 1.25 inches in diameter. It’s one of those car phone mounts that you’re happy to leave lying around even when not in use.
The Logitech Plus trip design is superb!
Most cars don’t have an abundance of space, so the fact that the Logitech Plus Trip optimizes its footprint by attaching it to a car vent is definitely a plus. Another great thing I like about car vent mounts is that they put your phone in direct contact with cool AC air, thus keeping the temperatures of the smartphone down.

Of course there is also the novelty that it is a magnetic car vent mount. Definitely a handy feature if you want to get in and out of your car quickly. It gets tiresome to deal with mechanical car phone holders every time you get into your vehicle and this product definitely solves that.
The magnet didn’t seem particularly strong, but it was strong enough to hold the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus and Google Pixel 3 XL that I tested it with (the latter even had a wallet on it). In fact, I was able to put one of the magnets in a case and it worked about 1-2mm of leather. Not once did my phones fail or feel like they were slipping. It definitely had a secure hold on my devices so you should be fine unless you’re trying to mount a tablet on it. The clip is also pretty tight and holds on to heavily deflate the blades. And the device even has a cable slot on the back for easy plugging in, which is a nice cherry on top.

What’s not so good?

There’s really not much to complain about with the Logitech Plus trip. My only negative comment is not so much about the product as it is about the vent mounts. I just have the feeling that they can never hold a device completely stable. Vent blades tend to fall down with the least weight and this is an experience I’ve had with this product as well.

I can’t be the only one who doesn’t like having things hooked up to phones all the time. Putting a magnetic disk on the back of a phone is a bit of an obligation, especially if it is visible. It may be more tolerable to put it on a case, but if you’re like me, it will still annoy you. Then you will also need to get replacements whenever you upgrade to a new phone / case. At the very least, the actual mount won’t stick to your car, which is common with these ultra-small magnetic phone mounts.

Finally, the magnet could interfere with your wireless charging system, which would be a big problem. Make sure you place it strategically if wireless charging is an important feature for you.
Logitech Plus Trip Review: Should I Buy It?

The only real downsides to the Logitech Plus Trip are magnetic disks and possible interference with wireless charging. If you can get past those two forks on the road and don’t mind using a car vent mount, this is an amazing travel companion.
It’s small, discreet, and looks great even if you notice. The build quality is great and nothing feels cheap. It works as intended and the magnet makes assembling (and disassembling) your phone a breeze. The magnet is strong enough to hold heavy phones. This really is the best air vent bracket I’ve ever tried. And at that price? Give me two!

However, you should hurry up and book a Logitech Plus trip now if that’s what you’re interested in. Several retailers are out of stock and the accessories are nowhere to be found on the Logitech website. It could be approaching its demolition.
