- The tip offers juicy camera, SoC and power details for the three phones.
- Vivo announces the X70 series on September 9th.
The Vivo X70 series hits the market later this week, but a new leak appears to reveal the core specs of the three phones long before that. The Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station has published a table in which the Vivo X70 Pro Plus, X70 Pro and the standard X70 are described in a little more detail. Interestingly, the leak suggests that the three phones might be available with MediaTek, Samsung, and Qualcomm SoCs.
Vivo X70 Pro Plus: Important Specifications
Let’s start with the former. According to Leak, the Vivo X70 Pro Plus is apparently the most impressive of the three products. It has a 6.78-inch 120 Hz AMOLED display with HDR10 Plus support, 10-bit color and a resolution of 3,200 x 1,440.
A 32-megapixel punch-hole selfie camera is said to sit at the top center of the screen. A Zeiss branded quad camera setup could include a 50 megapixel Samsung GN1 sensor with an f / 1.57 aperture. A 48 MP ultra-wide angle, a 12 MP portrait and an 8 MP periscope shooter are said to be added. Based on leaked images, these cameras could be mounted in a unique camera hump. The system will also carry the imaging chipset developed by Vivo.
The X70 Pro Plus lands with the Snapdragon 888, a 4,500 mAh battery, 55W wired charging, and 50W wireless charging assistance.
Vivo X70 Pro and X70: Important Specifications
The Vivo X70 Pro, meanwhile, slimmed down some of these specifications. It appears to share the same screen as the X70, a 6.56-inch AMOLED with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a resolution of 2,376 x 1,080. The same 32 MP selfie camera, 50 MP primary rear shooter, portrait and periscope cameras used on the Pro Plus are present. However, a 12 megapixel sensor entails ultra-wide tasks. It also reportedly uses the Exynos 1080 connected to a 4,450 mAh battery and 44W wired charge.
Finally, the Vivo X70 also uses a 32 MP selfie camera, but only has three on the back. According to Leak, these are a 40 MP main camera, a 12 MP ultra-wide camera and a 12 MP portrait shooter. It also includes a slightly smaller battery at 4,400 mAh, but has a wired charge of 44 W. In terms of computing power, the X70 could arrive with a Dimensity 1200 or an Exynos 1080.
The Vivo X70 series will debut on September 9th. So expect more about pricing, availability, and configurations for each phone later this week.
