This is the iPhone 13 – ProWellTech
The rumors were true. At the heart of today’s big Apple event is the latest iPhone. The newest device lands less than a year after its predecessor after things calmed down a bit on the supply chain side for Apple. Last year’s iPhone 12 was a huge hit, bucking the trend of stagnant smartphone sales, in part due to a sales bottleneck due to the unplanned delay, but also because it finally brought 5G connectivity to Apple’s cellular line.
Lucky number iPhone 13 (no skipping for the sake of superstition, mind) has a familiar design. The front notch has finally been made smaller – now 20% smaller than its predecessor, while the rear-facing camera system has also been redesigned. The screen is now 28% brighter on both the iPhone 13 and the 13 mini with 1200 nits.
The phone is powered by Apple’s new A15 Bionic chip, which is equipped with a 5 nm processor. The CPU has 6 cores, which the company calls “the fastest CPU on any smartphone”. Meanwhile, the new 4-core GPU brings advanced graphics to the handset.
The rear dual camera system has a 12 MP wide-angle camera that can capture up to 47% more light. The new Cinematic mode, meanwhile, offers rack-focus-style shooting, where the focus on subjects can be adjusted using machine learning (you can also tap to manually adjust or switch between subjects).
After introducing 5G last year, the company added more advanced antennas. By combining a larger battery and energy-saving software, the company was able to achieve an additional 2.5 hours of service life for the 13 and 1.5 hours for the Mini, according to the company.
The iPhone 13 mini starts at $ 699 and the 13 starts at $ 799.
