If you drill down, the Buds Z2 still have the stem, but the earplugs are a little different. The more pointed angled design should make for an easier and safer fit. Apparently there are more sensors inside each earbud as well, but it’s unclear what additional features these offer. However, automatic ear detection is likely to return.
