- We just saw our first set of leaked renders that supposedly depict the design of the OnePlus 9.
- The front of the device looks very familiar to me, while the back has some new design elements.
- The phone should start earlier than usual in 2021, so leaks should happen sooner too.
At 91MobileWe found a number of leaked renders that supposedly depict the upcoming OnePlus 9. You can see the mirrored renderings below.
Usually, 91Mobile works with famous leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer (aka OnLeaks) for such leaks. However, this doesn’t seem to be the case this time. Actually, 91Mobile does not give out any information about its source. In other words, while we trust 91Mobile Because of the history of accurate render leaks, it is important to cover this particular leak in a little more detail.
Regardless, check out the OnePlus 9 leak below.
OnePlus 9 has been leaked
According to the leaked information, the OnePlus 9 could come with a flat display that is larger than the OnePlus 8T’s 6.55-inch panel. The back of the phone supposedly remains curved and may have a three-lens camera.

The anonymous source spoken to 91Mobile also said the phone could come with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. This is the same refresh rate as the OnePlus 8T, but it gets rid of other rumors that OnePlus could go up to 144Hz refresh rate in 2021. Technically, this could still be the case with the Pro version of this phone.
We expect this phone to hit the market earlier than usual in 2021 as OnePlus has to respond to alleged news that Samsung is also pushing the Galaxy S30 series release. Hence, you probably won’t have to wait long to find out if these renders are the real deal or not.
