Gamers lucky enough to purchase Microsoft’s new Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S consoles on November 10th will not be short of games. Today the company released the list of Xbox Series X / S optimized games available for purchase.
Here is the list of the 30 launch games that will be optimized for the new consoles. Many of the games support Microsoft’s Smart Delivery feature. So when you buy one of these games for the older Xbox One console, you get the optimized Xbox Series X or S version for free. Some of the games will also be available on Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

Note that the list of optimized games includes features that take full advantage of the new consoles’ high-end hardware. The list includes both brand new and older games that have been redesigned to make the most of the CPU and GPU on the hardware.
Activision’s upcoming Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War will be added to the list of Xbox Series X / S Optimized Games starting November 13th. Cyberpunk 2077 with Smart Delivery will be added to the list on November 19, and the Xbox-exclusive The Medium will be added in December 10. The standalone expansion Destiny 2: Beyond Light will be released on November 10 for Xbox One, but for Xbox Series X / S optimized on December 8th.
One more thing: In addition to the many optimized games, thousands of older Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Original Xbox games will be available on the Xbox series X / S consoles on Launch Day.
