Your pet may have shared the news with you, but if you missed it, today is National Pet Parents Day. It might not be Presidents Day or Thanksgiving there, but I think it’s great that we have a day to think about our furry partners. There are a lot of things you can do to celebrate this occasion: you can take your pet for a long walk around the neighborhood (please wear a mask and practice social distancing), teach them a new trick, or get something . Or just make yourself comfortable with your dog on the sofa and watch a classic dog film. To help you, Fandango Now has curated the 60 best dog films For your comfort.

It is so damn charming that I hardly have any words for it – but I fully appreciate the fact that I am extremely sentimental about puppies. I don’t have a dog in my life and easily waste an hour a day watching clips of other people’s dogs on YouTube. So this is exactly the right thing for me. And maybe yours too.

Fandango Now has compiled the list of dog films (which, to be clear, are films about dogs, not films that are “dogs”) from the list of rotten tomatoes 80 best dog films, sorted by tomatometer. The end result is a page with virtually every adorable, heartwarming, tearful, live action and animated movie from your childhood or your child’s childhood that you want to see. You can rent most of these films for just $ 3. Some, like 101 Dalmatians, can only be bought what I would skip. With that in mind, here is my list of personal favorites – the best dog movies of all time that only cost a few dollars to rent:

Old yeller: The Number 1 Rotten Tomato Dog Film You Can Borrow For Only $ 3.

Wallace & Gromit: The Who Rabbit’s Curse: Please tell me that you saw the most adorable Claymation movie ever. $ 4

Best in show: Spinal Tap for dog shows – one of the best mockumentaries by Christopher Guest. $ 4

Let her come home: A family classic for $ 3.

On the way home: The incredible journey: My favorite live action animal movie ever. How can you not love this road trip film with a cat and a pair of dogs? Rent for only $ 3.
