The ZTE LiveBuds, a 1More PistonBuds clone
- ZTE announced the ZTE LiveBuds, a pair of affordable true wireless earbuds.
- The earbuds have an IPX4 rating and AAC support and look almost identical to the 1More PistonBuds.
- The ZTE TWS earbuds are available now and cost $ 40.
ZTE is kicking off CES 2021 with a pair of new true wireless earbuds to accompany the ZTE Axon 20. The ZTE LiveBuds have Bluetooth 5.0 and support SBC and AAC, the latter being suitable for high-quality audio. ZTE’s true wireless earbuds are strikingly similar to the 1More PistonBuds, except for the ZTE logo that runs along the sturdy stems.
We really enjoyed the PistonBuds and even gave them a spot on our list of the best true wireless earbuds under $ 50. We have every reason to believe the ZTE LiveBuds perform the same as they have the same IPX4 rating, Android and iOS compatibility, touch controls, weight, and battery life as the 1More PistonBuds.

ZTE’s earbuds might not look bold, but it’s bold to clearly mimic the PistonBuds with virtually no departure from 1More’s design. The ZTE LiveBuds last four hours on a single charge and a total of 20 with the supplied case. You can control the earbuds with a number of administered faucets and handles, and each bud weighs about four grams.
Just like the 1More PistonBuds, the ZTE LiveBuds also have ambient noise reduction technology to reduce background noise. This helps with clear voice transmission, and you can hear an example of the 1More PistonBuds microphone below using the same technology:
