  • This is the brand’s first 5G capable phone and has the most 5G antennas in a single phone.
  • Selling starts today at € 599 in Europe and £ 499 in the UK. US pricing and availability are not yet known.

HMD Global first announced the Nokia 8.3 5G in March this year, which frankly feels like it was a century ago. Today, the company behind the revitalized Nokia Smartphones brand has finally started selling for the phone.

Specifications and features of Nokia 8.3 5G

Nokia 8.3 front

The Nokia 8.3 5G is the first 5G-capable smartphone to be named Nokia. According to HMD Global, the phone has more 5G antennas than any other in order not to be outdone by the competition. This should help create a more efficient connection to stand-alone and non-stand-alone networks than competitor products.

However, all of these antennas only help the phone connect to the sub-6 GHz signal. The phone is not compatible with mmWave technology.
