The new Razer Blade Stealth 13 adds an OLED display and a faster processor

Razer is hosting its virtual RazerCon today and is using the event to announce some new products. Perhaps the biggest news is that we’re getting new versions of the Razer Blade Stealth 13 gaming ultrabook. The 3.1-pound aluminum Windows 10 laptop will have some hardware upgrades with two new models.

Both models will feature the new 11th generation Intel Core i7-1165G7 processor. The processor can be operated with a clock rate of 2.8 GHz or up to 4.7 GHz in turbo mode. Both also have the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 TI graphics chip with 4 GB of video RAM. Both also have 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD storage drive. The drive can be upgraded so you can add up to 2TB SSD if needed.

While one model will keep the 13.3-inch Full HD 120 Hz display released in previous versions of the notebook, a new model will include a 13.3-inch OLED Full HD touchscreen display. According to Razer, this will appeal to owners who want brighter images and darker contrast ratios when viewing images.

The new models will also include THX Spatial Audio support. This should allow gamers to have an even more immersive experience listening to audio through the laptop‘s four upward-facing speakers. The Razer Blade Stealth 13 will also include two Thunderbolt 4 / USB-C ports, which also serve as power ports, and two USB-A ports. There will also be Wi-Fi 6 support for wireless hardware.

The two new Razer Blade Stealth 13 notebooks will go on sale in October. The 120 Hz display version costs $ 1,799 and the OLED model costs $ 1,999.

Other new Razer products include a gaming chair and PC cases

Razer also unveiled several other new products at RazerCon. The new Razer Iskur is the company’s first gaming chair. It is covered with a layer of synthetic leather to withstand hours of use. The lumbar spine support solution spans the entire middle to lower spine so that players can take a neutral spine position while sitting in the chair. The lumbar support is also adjustable. The top of the chair contains a memory foam pillow for the head, and the armrests can be adjusted for the best position for a player’s wrists and forearms.

The Razer Iskur goes on sale today on the company’s website for $ 499.

PC gamers who love to build their own rigs may be interested in their new Tomahawk PC chassis. They are available in the ATX mid-tower and mini-ITX desktop models. Both have pivoting tempered glass side panels that allow easy access to the inside of the case. Both also support integrated cable management. Finally, they support Razer’s custom Chroma RGB lights on the bottom. The ATX case costs $ 199 and the mini-ITX is $ 179. Both will be posted on the company’s website today.

Regarding the Razer Chroma RGB lighting system, the company announced that it has added WD Black, Seagate Gaming, Yeelight and Twinkly to its Razer Chroma Connect program. There are now over 50 hardware companies making products that use Razer Chroma RGB lights. In addition, Razer has partnered with ASRock to bring the first Razer Edition motherboards to market. They will have native Razer Chroma RGB support so PC manufacturers can sync them with other Chroma devices. Twinkly also launches Christmas tree lights that support Chroma RGB.
