  • The housing and the earphones have protection class IPX4.
  • Mode II is available to pre-order and retail for $ 179.

Marshall Headphones has broken out of its usual headphone and speaker releases and leaped into the world of true wireless audio. The new Marshall Mode II earbuds take inspiration from the company’s famous guitar amps, but the appeal is more than just up close. Comfort and functionality are paramount with these headphones, and Marshall offers a range of earbuds to ensure the best fit for every listener.

The true Mode II wireless earbuds are designed for everyday, all-day listening and have IPX4 water resistance for the buds and case. You can take these earbuds from the subway, to the gym, and to the office. The five-hour standalone battery life is slightly above average, while the case offers a battery reserve of 20 hours. Listeners can charge the case via USB-C or with a wireless charging mat. Fast charging is not supported on the Marshall Mode II, but it only takes two hours to fully charge the case and earbuds.

Bluetooth 5.1 powers these headphones, and you can control media playback or make incoming calls directly from the touch-sensitive cases. Marshall lets you customize the sound of Mode II with its in-app EQ module. This is a great option for listeners who don’t necessarily want bass and treble boost by default. iPhone users cannot enjoy high quality bluetooth streaming because the earbuds only support bluetooth codecs aptX and SBC.

The true Marshall Mode II wireless earbuds come in black and cost $ 179. They can be pre-ordered today through Marshall’s website and officially launched on March 18th.
