The Mandalorian reportedly casts Clone Wars voice actor as live-action Bo-Katan Kryze
Star Wars series The Mandalorian has cast voice actress Katee Sackhoff from Bo-Katan Kryze from animated Star Wars shows The clone wars and rebels to play their live action counterpart, a report said. She will repeat the role of Mandalorian warrior Kryze in season two of Disney Plus Series, according to a Tuesday report by Slash Film.
In the final season of The Clone Wars, Bo-Katan Kryze and Ahsoka Tano fought against Darth Maul. In Rebels, she became the owner of the Darksaber weapon at the end of the first season of The Mandalorian.
Sackhoff filmed their segments for The Mandalorian in February before the because of the Corona virus Pandemic, the report said. Boba Fett will also be in the second season of The Mandalorian, it was revealed last week while Ahsoka Tano is said to be joining the cast for the Disney Plus Show, although apparently played by Rosario Dawson rather than Clone Wars voice actress Ashley Eckstein.
Disney Plus did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
