Charm City Kings, winner of the US Dramatic Special Jury Prize at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival, is an upcoming HBO Max film based on urban dirt bikers from West Baltimore. It tells the story of a 14-year-old boy named Mouse (Jahi Di’Allo Winston) who wants to join the dirt bike group Midnight Clique. With his brother’s death and pressure from his co-workers, Mouse falls back on a life of crime to collect his bike and pursue his dreams. Based on a true story, Charm City Kings is an adaptation of the documentary 12 O’Clock Boys directed by Lotfy Nathan. Check out the trailer below.
2. A teacher

3. Rebecca
Netflix dropped the trailer for its modern adaptation of Daphne Du Maurier’s 1938 Gothic novel this week. The upcoming film, titled Rebecca, will star Armie Hammer, Lily James and Kristin Scott Thomas. After a whirlwind romance in Monte Carlo with the handsome widower Maxim de Winter (Hammer), a woman (Lily James) arrives as his newlywed bride on his extensive family estate. Young and naive, she struggles to feel at home as the sinister housekeeper Mrs. Danvers (Thomas) is determined to keep the memory of Maxim’s first wife alive. See the trailer below.
4. Ratched: Last trailer
We got the final streaming trailer for Ratched this week before it hits Netflix on September 18th. Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan’s upcoming horror drama looks absolutely cool in this new trailer, and it gives us a glimpse into Nurse Ratched’s childhood. We swear this is where you get the feel of American horror history, and if Murphy-Brennan collaborations from the past (read: Glee, Scream Queens) have anything to do with it, Ratched is going to be a hell of a good series.
5. clouds
Disney’s Clouds is a film based on the life of American singer-songwriter Zach Sobiech, whose single “Clouds” was released on the Billboard Hot 100 and received more than 3 million views on YouTube before he died of cancer. Sobiech had a year of life from his doctors when he was only 17 years old. The film tells about his final days and how he made the most of it by becoming a viral singing sensation and forming a band with his friends. Clouds is coming to Disney Plus on October 16. Check out the trailer below.
6. Monsterland
Hulu has released the first trailer for its upcoming eight-part anthology series Monsterland. The TV show promises “encounters with mermaids, fallen angels and other strange animals”, all of which can be seen in the trailer. The series features some well-known talent including Kaitlyn Dever, Jonathan Tucker, Charlie Tahan, Hamish Linklater, Taylor Schilling, and many more. Check out the creepy trailer below.
7. Hubie Halloween
Comedy meets horror in this Adam Sandler Halloween film that hits Netflix this October. The trailer sees Sandler as Hubie Dubois, a man who loves Halloween and ungratefully tries to make sure everyone in his town celebrates it safely. But his weird mannerisms make him the bum of all jokes. Nobody takes him seriously until a Halloween city dweller mysteriously disappears and he’s the only one they can turn to for help. Check out the trailer below.
