We did our best to cover all options. You may know Nest best for its thermostats, they’re just the tip of the iceberg. Are you ready to make your home a little smarter? Let’s go.
The best Google Nest products:
Publisher’s Note: We’ll be adding new Nest products to this list at launch.
Hello video doorbell
The first thing most people see when they approach your front door is the doorbell. Now you can see them too, with the Hello doorbell from Nest. This video doorbell replaces your current cable setup and brings HD video straight to your phone at any time of the day or night. The Nest Hello doorbell is one of our favorite products because it is easy to use. All you have to do is connect it to your home WiFi.

If there’s a package stolen or someone is playing a prank on your house, you can always check the last three hours of footage. You can also add a Nest Aware subscription for $ 6 a month, which gives you more access to camera history as well as alerts.
Protect nest
Another great way to keep your home safe is with the Nest Protect system. While the Hello doorbell is mostly about the safety you can see, Nest Protect is all about the issues you can’t see – namely smoke and carbon monoxide. It is a flexible smart home accessory that is full of sensors. You can also mute the alarm right from your phone if there is little smoke.
Nest Protect is recognized as one of the best Google Nest products for its flexibility and ease of use. You can choose between wired or battery operated versions, and the Protect speaks to you with a human voice rather than a booming siren.
Nest Cam security cameras
Google’s Nest Security Cameras are almost as popular as the thermostats, and you have plenty of options to choose from. Whether you want a little more tranquility indoors or outdoors, there is a Nest camera for you. Both versions offer 1080p HD video feed day and night. You can also grab multiple packs to upgrade your entire home.

The indoor and outdoor cameras are very similar for the most part. You get a 130 degree field of view and up to 8x zoom for both models. A key difference between the two is that the Nest Cam is waterproof outdoors to withstand the weather.
Nest Audio

With all of these Nest security options, your home needs to be safe now. So let’s get down to the fun things. Google’s Nest Audio speaker is one of the newest members of the family, and it’s all about the music. There are five different colors to choose from, and the Nest Audio can work with your other speakers for a holistic home experience.

Nest Audio is one of our most popular Nest products for the convenient built-in privacy features. You can easily ask Google to delete a record of what you just said, or you can always use Nest Audio to send messages across your house.
Nest stroke max
Another great option for home entertainment is the Nest Hub Max. It’s a smart display that combines with a speaker and is great for watching YouTube videos. You can also use your Nest Hub Max as a smart picture frame and flip through your favorite memories. There are only two color options, but the 10-inch display is the real star of the show.

The Nest Hub Max is a great way to keep in touch with your family and friends, too. Google’s smart display includes a front-facing camera that allows you to video call almost anyone.
Learn thermostat
We have finally reached the product that Nest put on the menu. The learning thermostat is a smart way to heat and cool your home, and it even learns your preferences. Google boasts that almost anyone should be able to install a learning thermostat in 30 minutes. You can control the temperature right from the palm of your hand and Nest thermostats can revert to an eco setting on the go.

Although most Nest products only come in a few colors, the learning thermostat is available in a variety of colors to match your home. You can opt for black, silver, gold, and even a few shades of steel.
Nest Wi-Fi
If you want to fill your home with Google Nest products, you need a way to connect them all. After all, the speakers and cameras have to stay online at all times. Thankfully, Google’s Nest Wi-Fi does the trick. It’s a mesh system, which means you should be able to provide reliable service to your entire home.

As with many Nest products, you can grab a single router or pick up several at a time. The device itself looks like a white LEGO head, so you should be able to fit it in without too much trouble.

One final Google Nest product for your consideration is a rare choice with no Nest in the name. The new Chromecast with Google TV lets you control the rest of your devices from one central location. You can install any required companion apps and use the helpful new remote control from Google.
