Tesla Model S Performance now boasts quicker acceleration

The Tesla Model S. quickly shaped how a performance car can look and sound like it has evolved over the past decade. Ludicrous Mode became a household name and we saw the electric sedan watch sprint 0-60 mph in just 2.5 seconds.

Do that for 2.3 seconds today. Tesla updated its website on Tuesday to set a new time from 0 to 60 mph for the Model S performanceand Tesla told Roadshow that everything has to do with a new performance firmware update that was introduced a few weeks ago. We know the company recently launched what “Cheetah keeping“To lower the front axle, improve traction and therefore acceleration, thanks to adaptive air suspension.

The free software update also includes more power at speeds of 80 mph, an increase in performance and a three-fold increase in the drive train’s thermal life. In fact, the Model S can drive faster over a longer period of time, which explains the updated time from 0 to 60 mph.

However, this is not the end of the Model S and its highly competitive, performance-oriented methods. Finally, the company plans to introduce an even harder core Model S plaid Variant that should offer even more thrills.
