The free software update also includes more power at speeds of 80 mph, an increase in performance and a three-fold increase in the drive train’s thermal life. In fact, the Model S can drive faster over a longer period of time, which explains the updated time from 0 to 60 mph.
However, this is not the end of the Model S and its highly competitive, performance-oriented methods. Finally, the company plans to introduce an even harder core Model S plaid Variant that should offer even more thrills.
