Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will hit Disney Plus on May 4
The full Skywalker saga will be available on Disney Plus on Monday, May 4th, when Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will hit the streaming service.
The ninth film in the main Star Wars saga was released last December and brought in more than $ 1 billion less than a month. It was available for digital purchase and came out on Blu-ray in March (with the usual extras behind the scenes).
Disney Plus undoubtedly aims to disrupt the armed forces for May 4 (known as Social Wars as Star Wars Day) – Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian, a Documentary series The release of the live action show will premiere on this day, as will the last episode of the CGI animation series The clone wars.
You may also notice some aesthetic improvements in the Disney Plus Star Wars section – every movie and show art book is updated to include the original conceptual images of artists like Ralph McQuarrie and Doug Chiang.
With the addition of The Rise of Skywalker to Disney Plus, only one Star Wars movie will no longer be available in the U.S. – Solo is currently exclusively available for Netflix in the region, but is available in Europe from Disney Plus. It will hit Disney Plus in the U.S. in July.
