Sprint customers say goodbye to their 5G service
Only the Samsung Galaxy S20 5G works in the new T-Mobile network.

T-Mobile has shut down Sprint’s 5G network three months after the operator’s merger with Sprint ended on April 1, worth $ 26.5 billion. “We are working to quickly redeploy, optimize and test the 2.5 GHz spectrum before it lights up on the T-Mobile network,” said a T-Mobile spokesman in a statement sent by email.
The network operator offers replacement phones for former Sprint 5G customers. Customers leasing or financing a 5G phone for more than $ 10 a month will receive a Galaxy S20 5G for $ 10 a month after a $ 31.67 / month credit on an 18-month lease.
