TL; DR
- Serial leaker Evan Blass recently released leaked specs for three Motorola 2021 phones.
- Two of the phones are definitely mid-range smartphones, but one appears to have a Snapdragon 870 on board.
- Each phone is only launched in certain regions of the world, so you may not be able to get all of them.
Evan Blass The specs for three new Motorola 2021 phones have been leaked. One of them will have a global variant and a North American (read: Verizon-exclusive) model, so technically there are four new phones.
You can see the table of specifications that Blass leaked out below.
Leaked Motorola 2021 Phones
Blass postulates that these devices could end up under the Motorola Edge branding. That would mean they would almost certainly have curved displays, as this is what gives the Edge phones their name.
However, the global variant of Berlin is shrinking the battery and introducing a telephoto lens. It is unfortunate that Motorola is making these compromises, but its regional exclusivity strategy makes it likely that few will know there was an option at all.
The next device, code-named “Kyoto”, has a MediaTek Dimensity 720 processor, another friendly mid-range CPU.
After all, with a Snapdragon 870 under the hood, the “P Star” phone seems like the best. It also has the Trifecta rear camera with a 108 MP main, 16 MP ultra wide angle and an 8 MP telephoto lens. Unfortunately, the phone won’t make it to the US.
As we see these specs now, it probably won’t be long before these new Motorola 2021 phones hit the market. Stay tuned!
