Sony PS5 looks like a router, a reverse Oreo and Sauron's tower 2

According to some social media users, Sony’s new PS5 console resembles a router. And there were other creative comparisons.

Sony revealed its Super slim PlayStation 5 console On Thursday, pictures of the new game system quickly spread on social media. The eagerly awaited device is large and thin and white in the front and back, with blue lights and black accents on the sides. And until the players get their hands on the PS5, they can at least criticize the new look.

“The PS5 looks like a new expensive performing arts campus center that replaced three academic arts departments and cost $ 60 million,” wrote a Twitter user.

The PS5 compared other tweets to a humidifier, a duckbill or the dark tower of Lord of the Rings.

One of the most common comparisons was with a router.

“PS5 looks like the standard free router you got from your ISP in 2003,” wrote a Twitter user.

The color scheme made quite a few people think of a particular sandwich biscuit or an ice cream sandwich.

Or Yu-Gi-Oh character Seto Kaiba.

However, others just thought that the new console looked like a downfall to Xbox competition.

Sony has not announced a price for the PS5, but is expected to launch in time for the Christmas season.
