Sony just revealed its PS5 console: Here’s what we know
At his Future of gaming event On Thursday, Sony gave viewers a look at the new PlayStation 5 console. The company showed that upcoming PS5 at the end of the event next to the new DualSense controller that we debuted in April. Sony also showed a range of devices such as an HD camera, a media remote and a controller charging station Wireless Pulse 3D headset. It is currently unclear whether the equipment can be bundled or optionally added.
The new PS5, which was also shown lying on its side, is a futuristic white with a black surface and blue reflections.

The next generation console will have two versions: a standard model with a Blu-ray drive and a sleeker digital edition device that does not contain any discs – it is based solely on downloads and streaming. CNET’s sister site, GameSpot, reported that unlike a hard drive like previous PlayStations, the PS5 uses a solid-state drive and that game discs support a capacity of up to 100 GB.
Although prices and release dates have not yet been announced, Sony CEO Jim Ryan said the company plans to launch it later this year. You can see the reveal below:
The company discussed new games for the new console and teased titles like a Continuation of Spider-Man, Resident Evil 8 and Horizon Forbidden West. You can see the trailers for these new games below:

Sony had postponed the event after global protests broke out in police custody in response to the murder of an unarmed black man, George Floyd. Sony had originally planned to hold its event despite that on June 4th Corona virus Pandemic that Turn off the annual E3 video game show this year.
