Slack says it’s working to resolve outage
Slack had problems on Tuesday afternoon, but some users didn’t seem to mind the timeout. After Slack fell for many users around 4:30 p.m. PT, users contacted Twitter to indicate that the collaboration tool was not available, and Slack replied that he knew that users were experiencing performance issues and were working to resolve the issue.
“Users reported general performance issues, such as sending messages and timeouts,” says Twitter account Slack Status reported. “We are working to get things back to normal as soon as possible and will be providing an update shortly.”
It wasn’t immediately clear how many users were affected, but many of the user complaints seemed to come from Japan and the US west coast. A Slack spokesman repeated that he was aware of the problem and was investigating it.
“We know how important it is that people stay connected, and we are working hard to get everyone back on track,” said a Slack spokesman. “For the latest updates, please keep an eye on @slackstatus and status.slack.com. ”
The response on Twitter was quick.
Many users complained that they were unable to communicate with their teams, but some found humor in the situation, despite the increased tension created by trying to work remotely while working Corona virus Curfew.
