Shein usurps Amazon as the biggest shopping app in the US

Amazon has long been the dominant shopping app for Android in the US. But its position is now threatened by a Chinese retailer. According to company data, Shein has crashed Amazon as the most installed shopping app on the platform in the US.
Shein was founded in 2008 TechCrunchand can now be estimated at $ 15 billion. The fashion retailer is based in China and reportedly controls its production lines from top to bottom. This means that it can adapt to global trends and demand in an instant. It also supports PayPal payments, offers live chat customer service, and free shipping for orders over $ 49. The growth in the US is likely due in part to these factors.
On May 11th, it was ranked number one as the most installed shopping app in the United States. Per App, Annie retains that position at the time of writing. It tops the nation’s at least 14 app charts worldwide. Shein is also now the 17th most popular app in the US overall. The climb isn’t limited to Android, however. According to sensor tower data, Shein is also the largest shopping app for iOS in more than 50 countries.
