Samsung’s Good Lock gains S Pen tweaks, Keyboard mini-game

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra Notes app opened with stylus

  • Samsung is expanding its Good Lock App Suite with additional customization modules.
  • This includes modules to optimize the S Pen and the Samsung keyboard.

Samsung offers its Good Lock App Suite further customization modules for S Pen users, Samsung keyboard typists and those who like to tinker with their home screen.

The first extension, Pentastic, will appeal to Samsung Galaxy Note 20 ultra-power users or other S Pen phones with One UI 2.1 or newer. The app allows users to change hover points and designs for Air Command, and add additional sound options to the sound software. Pentastic also turns a long press of the S Pen button into a custom app shortcut.

For those who prefer to type rather than write, the new Keys Cafe module has options for tweaking the height and position of the Samsung keyboard. Samsung is also teasing a gamification feature that allows typists to receive “points and rankings” to reduce typing errors. There are also broader theme options and dynamic effect optimizations.

Finally, the Wonderland app adds more customization options to users’ home screens and lock screens. Tweaker can now create custom 3D background images with motion and particle effects.

Existing apps in the suite also get some update love. Home Up improves file sharing management, while MultiStar brings wireless keyboard sharing and improved orientation changes for pinned apps to tablets.

Pentastic and Wonderland are now available for download for Samsung devices. Keys Cafe and the Home Up update will be released in early October.

In particular, Good Lock is only available in 10 countries listed by Samsung. If you haven’t installed it, access it below.
