The earbuds were no longer being sold or shipped because of problems with quality control.
It’s not clear what changes Samsung made to these earbuds, but so far no new customers have reported any problems.
Changed on August 12, 2024, at 7:20 a.m. ET: The following is what Samsung said about users getting their Galaxy Buds 3 Pro earbuds delivered:
We at Samsung are working hard to get the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro to customers as soon as possible because we want them to be completely happy with their purchase.
Because we are still trying to get enough product to meet customer demand, delivery may be a little late. We are working hard to get the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro to customers as soon as possible. Customers will get their orders in the order they were placed.
We’re truly sorry for any trouble this may have caused.
The statement says that deliveries have started up again, but delivery times may change because of delays.
First version of the story, August 9, 2024, 6:30 a.m. ET: Over the years, Samsung has made some great earbuds, but the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro have had a rough start. Many people were critical of the company for clearly taking ideas from Apple. Early users of the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro also reported a number of problems. Samsung had to stop shipping and selling products for a while while it figured out what was going on. Early adopters have resumed receiving their earbuds, suggesting that the company has resolved the issues.
Gamers on Reddit such as Lamirian215, MrDezBam7, and QueenAng429 now have their Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. These people had pre-ordered earbuds but hadn’t gotten them yet because Samsung had stopped selling them. They were told by Samsung about the delay and given an arrival date after August 15, but the earbuds were sent out early. One of the Redditors calls their pair a “revised” one, but it’s not clear what changes, if any, Samsung has made to the product.
One of the main complaints about the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro was that the ear tips were fragile. A Reddit user switched the ear tips on their unit and had no problems, which shows that Samsung made a good pair of earbuds.
It is important to remember, though, that the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro problems weren’t just with the ear tips breaking, even though that was the most usual one. People have also said that the lines on the earbuds aren’t smooth, that the earbuds are at different heights inside the case, that there is color dye residue, and other problems. It’s not clear if Samsung has fixed all of these problems.
At the time this was written, Samsung was once again taking orders for the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. While the white color says it will arrive on September 20, the silver color says it will arrive on August 28. Along with the phone, Samsung is giving away a clip case with a latch that is worth $30.

Great sound quality, lots of functions, and a comfortable fit.
Keeping an eye on things and using electric lights
The Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro are almost similar to the Buds3, but they have better sound quality thanks to their two-way speakers and better situational awareness thanks to their advanced ambient sound features. There is a 10.5mm DD speaker and a 6.1mm planar speaker that send sound. Bluetooth 5.4 has good connectivity, and tools like Siren Detect can change the levels of ANC and ambient noise on the fly. With the new interpreter mode, you can get readings on your phone.
We called Samsung to find out more about the changes the company made to the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. We’ll make changes to this story as soon as we learn more.
