Samsung phone, likely Galaxy S21 FE, just hit the FCC

TL; DR
- A Samsung phone just passed the FCC, and it looks very likely that it could be the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE.
- The phone supports mmWave connections and has the model number SM-G990U which is supposedly the S21 FE.
- A phone passing the FCC is a sign that the US release of a smartphone is very soon to come.
The FCC site just released a certification page for a phone model number SM-G990U. This should have been connected to the Galaxy S21 FE for a long time. As a side note, the Galaxy S21 has the model number SM-G991U in the US, which only makes it seem all the more likely.
The FCC documents also show that the phone in question supports mmWave 5G connections. This is good news for anyone who may have been concerned that the Galaxy S21 FE would just be a Sub6.
A phone passing the FCC is a surefire sign that a full launch is imminent. It’s possible that we could see the S21 FE – and everything else Samsung has in store with it – sometime in July or early August.
