Samsung One UI 3.0 beta is available to Galaxy Note 20 owners
- Samsung is making its One UI 3.0 Beta available for the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra.
- You need an unlocked, Sprint, or T-Mobile device to try it out.

You don’t need to own a Galaxy S20 to try Samsung’s latest user interface. Samsung’s One UI 3.0 Beta is available for the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra and gives the company’s stylus-equipped smartphones a taste of Android 11.
You need a Sprint, T-Mobile, or unlocked version of the Galaxy Note 20 to test the One UI 3.0 beta. You still have to log in to the Samsung Members app via a banner. The company warns that it will be “faster” to deploy a more stable version as we write this. So you should be patient if reliability (at least for a beta) is important to you.

The trial version includes numerous user interface improvements and practical functions. Some of these come straight from Android 11, e.g. B. a separate area for chats in your notification shadow. You will also see improvements to the Samsung web browser, home and lock screens, and even Contacts.
There are also improvements to the ecosystem, such as expanded DeX wireless support and a SmartThings connection that provides high-visibility alerts when devices hear a doorbell or a crying baby. It’s not sure if there are Galaxy Note 20-specific additions to the beta version of One UI 3.0, but Samsung didn’t mention any in its announcement.
Samsung has already committed to releasing the polished version after November. This is unofficially expected by December. It hasn’t described which devices will get beta after the Galaxy Note 20, but it could be a long list if Samsung extends updates to many of its mid-range and high-end devices to three years.
