Today Samsung finally confirmed that the previously leaked Galaxy Tab S7 FE (Fan Edition) tablet is on its way. In addition, the company has also announced a tablet with a smaller budget. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is a portable tablet for viewing content and games.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE has a large 12.4-inch display measuring 2,560 × 1,600. Thanks to the included S Pen, Samsung is clearly striving for people to work and play on this tablet. The tablet also supports the optional Book Cover Keyboard accessory.
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 750G processor supplies power to the tablet. Models are released with either 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage or 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. With the included microSD slot, you can expand this storage limit to a further 1 TB. There’s also a large 10,090 mAh battery with support for up to 45W fast charge (though you’ll need to purchase the fast charger separately)
The tablet has an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front camera and a USB-C port. In addition to Wi-Fi 5, Wi-Fi Direct, and Bluetooth 5.0, some models support LTE and 5G wireless connections. Two speakers with AKG and Dolby Atmos support are included and available in four different colors: Mystic Black, Mystic Silver, Mystic Green and Mystic Pink.
The Galaxy Tab A7 Lite has an 8.7-inch display that is 1,340 × 800 in size. Based on the company’s official render, the tablet has fairly large bezels on the front with rounded corners and a metal cover. Inside there is a currently unnamed octa-core processor with speeds of 4 × 2.3 GHz + 4 × 1.8 GHz. It also has either 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, or 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. There is also a microSD card slot to add up to 1TB of additional storage space.

The smaller tablet has a 5,100 mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging (although this charger is also optional), an 8-megapixel rear camera, and a 2-megapixel front camera. The tablet also supports Wi-Fi 5, Wi-Fi Direct, and Bluetooth 5.0 connections. Some models offer wireless LTE support. You can expect to see a USB-C port for power, and there’s an old-fashioned 3.5mm headphone jack too. Consumers can choose between gray or silver color.
The prices for the tablets are yet to be announced, but both are expected to be released in June.
