- Further details and depictions of the rumored S Pen of the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra have been leaked.
- The pictures show a pen whose design is similar to that of the Galaxy Tab S7 S Pen.
- It will reportedly retail for less than $ 50 and be sold as an optional accessory.
Much has been said about the possible support of the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra for the S Pen pen. We recently confirmed this through an FCC listing. Now comes our first look at the alleged digital pen courtesy of WinFuture.
In the release, renders and details of the accessory kit were released as an optional extra for those investing in a Galaxy S21 Ultra. However, if you were expecting a pen with a style similar to that of the Galaxy Note series, you will be disappointed.
Aesthetically, the S Pen is more similar to the accessories of the Galaxy Tab S7 series. There is also no slot in the S21 Ultra in which to store it. Instead, Samsung should offer users a cover that has space for the pen. This could make the potentially big phone an even bigger prospect.
In terms of functionality, the Galaxy S21 Ultra pen isn’t all that different from its Note counterpart. Although the top click mechanism is missing, it does contain a button on the side. Users can still use the pen as a remote control for camera or video playback, or during presentations.

The S Pen also remains an active pen that interacts with a digitizer under the Galaxy S21 Ultra’s display. It is unclear how the pen charges or if this pen is designed to work with other Samsung devices. In this case, Galaxy Tab S7 owners may be able to use a single pen for both devices.
WinFuture suggests the pen will retail for less than $ 40. Given that Samsung once sold a 45W charger for a similar price, it doesn’t seem like an overly high investment.
Expect more about the S Pen and the entire Galaxy S21 range at Samsung’s early Unpacked event on January 14th.
